Feng fantasy birds
A Chinese fairy tale about a special embroidered piece of silk. A brother and sister share their last rice porridge with a poor woman. As a thank you, the sister receives a white silk cloth with a Feng Huang. She embroiders the phoenix in the most beautiful colors with and one night she discovers that the Feng Huang flies off the silk and lays a golden egg. In Chinese mythology, the Feng Huang (phoenix) is a symbol of strength, elegance and good luck. In peaceful times, the Feng Huang leaves the Land of the Immortals to announce prosperity, accompanied by many other birds who honor him as the most beautiful of all.
